At its heart is the Insektenliebe terrarium measuring 20 × 20 × 20 cm. It is compact, well ventilated and offers enough space for the typical living tube and the burrowing activities of your Eresus spider. The clear front gives you a great view of your animal at all times. At the same time, the terrarium can be maintained quickly and safely because it is easily accessible from above and offers enough space for decoration.

You can use loamy desert sand and sterilized forest humus as a substrate. Both substrates harmonize perfectly as they form an easily compactable surface. Eresus species use precisely this type of soil to create their burrows. With a little moisture, the substrate remains stable while the surface remains pleasantly dry. This creates a natural habitat that closely resembles the habitat of these spiders.

Two dragon stones and three Fingerwood XS are included for the structure and visual design. The stones create rough surfaces and small crevices. Eresus spiders like to use such structures when exploring and creating burrows. The Fingerwood also brings fine branching into the terrarium. This immediately makes the setup look lively and at the same time open enough to be able to observe your animal easily. You can arrange the decoration flexibly to create the perfect combination of climbing and retreat options.

The set includes an Insektenliebe round bowl with a diameter of 30 mm so that you can provide your spider with a good supply of water at all times. It fits perfectly in small terrariums and ensures that water can be offered cleanly and safely. The spider finds it easily as the flat edge makes it easier to approach.
