Available in dried, pressed brick form – optionally in 100 g, 200 g or 500 g – it offers a simple and space-saving solution for anyone who values a natural look and functional support for humidity in the terrarium.

To prepare the Insektenliebe Terrarium Moss optimally, first place the moss brick in a sufficiently large container. We recommend using around 1.5 liters of lukewarm water for a 100 g brick. Pour the water evenly over the brick and leave it to soak for at least 10 to 15 minutes. During this time, the dried and pressed moss will begin to absorb water and slowly expand. As soon as the brick is completely soaked, the moss can be easily loosened with your hands. In the process, it unfolds its original structure and reveals a rich, vibrant green color. The result is a pleasantly soft, fluffy and visually appealing terrarium moss that is ideal as a ground cover, retreat or decoration.

One 100 g tile produces approximately 4.5 liters of ready-to-use moss – ideal for creating small to medium-sized terrariums. Excess water can be easily squeezed out if a drier consistency is desired. The finished moss can be used flexibly and can also be moistened and reused several times if required.

Especially in tropical or humid setups, such as for jumping spiders, Isopods, beetles, mantids or amphibians, Insektenliebe Terrarium Moss provides excellent service. It ensures a stable microclimate, reliably increases the humidity and at the same time provides protection and retreat areas for many animals.
