Sea lettuce (Ulva lactuca), also known as sea lettuce, is a multicellular green algae. Ulva is found in all seas. It grows on stony ground, mussels or other types of algae.
Sea lettuce contains particularly high levels of magnesium, calcium and vitamin A, vitamin B3, vitamin B12 and vitamin C.
Application: We place the leaves in water for 10-15 minutes. This causes the sea lettuce to swell fourfold and the animals can decompose the leaves more easily and absorb moisture at the same time.
Composition: 100 % sea lettuce algae (Ulva spp.)
