Exo Terra Bio-Drainage Substrate

Exo Terra Bio-Drainage Substrate is a natural, inorganic substrate that creates an excellent drainage system in the terrarium. It does not rot and decompose like other natural substrates. The optional drainage net separates the drainage substrate from the upper decorative terrarium substrate and prevents the different substrates from mixing and contaminating the terrarium water. The drainage substrate acts as a biological filter system in the terrarium. The clean terrarium water can then be fed through waterfalls or sprinkler systems.

1. Thoroughly rinse the water-absorbing Exo Terra Bio-Drainage Substrate and spread it evenly throughout the terrarium
2. Move the substrate as necessary to create a water area. Cover the substrate completely with the Exo Terra Bio-Drainage Terrarium Fabric Mat
3. Spread the forest humus in the dry area of the terrarium
