Brief description Avicularia huriana:

Avicularia huriana is the largest representative of the Avicularia species. It seems that the larger an Avicularia species is, the calmer its disposition becomes. We have rarely seen such a calm tarantula!
Its appearance makes your heart beat faster. It is very hairy and the white tips at the end make it look almost hedgehog-like.

Like all Avicularia species, Avicularia Avicularia huriana is an arboreal species. Due to its size, a 30 × 30 × 40 cm terrarium should be chosen. The substrate height should be at least 5 cm. This maintains the humidity, which is optimal at approx. 75 %. A vertical cork tube is very popular as a hiding place. As the animals love to climb, additional river roots are very suitable. The climatic and visual conditions can also be enhanced with real or artificial plants. Adult animals can easily be fed with sub-adult Argentine forest cockroaches or adult chocolate cockroaches.
