Premium lava stone

Our premium lava stone comes from Iceland. The difference to normal lava stone is that the stones are very light as they do not have a high density. For this reason, the premium lava stone absorbs more water and is cheaper to ship.

Lava stones are ideal for decorating terrariums. They can be stacked perfectly and therefore offer several advantages. Firstly, the stones absorb water like a sponge and slowly release it into the environment. This increases the humidity in the terrarium without creating waterlogging. The stones provide the animals with a natural hiding place. Even offspring can find a suitable crevice to hide in and are therefore safe from danger. Plants and moss can also be attached to the stones, which grow very quickly due to the moisture of the stones.

Not to forget the beautiful sight of the black stones in the terrarium, which form an exceptionally beautiful contrast to the green of the plants.
