Brief description of L. spec. “Cuc Phuong”:
They are one of the most beautiful phasmid species currently available. The coloration of both males and females is simply stunning. The ink-blue thorax runs to a copper or gold-colored rump. The head could also be described as gold or copper colored. This stick insect species is not sensitive to stagnant air, so ventilation in the lid is sufficient. The terrarium should be regularly sprayed with water. At least the substrate should always remain moist. Lopaphus spec. “Cuc Phuong” is a very active species. They are therefore constantly on the move and can be observed day and night. Due to their active nature, too high a stocking density should be avoided.
