Hobby Dupla Silent Power Pump SSP 1.200

Many terrarium keepers dream of a waterfall in their paludarium. Incidentally, a paludarium is where the aquarium and terrarium meet, which is why it is also known as an aquaterrarium. The name paludarium is derived from the Latin word “palus”, which means swamp. Similar to a real swamp landscape, the miniature version has a densely planted bank and a part that is below the water surface. If the focus is on the water area rather than the land part of the aquaterrarium, this is referred to as a riparium. The aim here is to recreate the shore zone of lakes or rivers and only hint at the area above water.
The Hobby Dupla Silent Power Pump SSP 1.200 is perfect as a pump for a waterfall. The amount of water to be transported can be regulated with this pump, making it very easy to achieve the desired water operation.
The Hobby Dupla Silent Power Pump SSP 1.200 can also be used in both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. The brushless (Brushless Technology), 6-pole synchronous motors are characterized by extremely quiet running and can be optimally adapted to the respective requirements of the aquarium by means of different power levels. If the pump is to be used as a flow pump, a wave simulation can also be programmed. All Silent Power pumps have a switch-off function to protect the pumps against dry running or clogging by foreign bodies. The use of ceramic shafts increases the service life of the pumps and motors and prevents rust formation caused by salt water. The Silent Power pumps are available in six different sizes with a capacity of 1,200 l/h – 12,000 l/h.
- Highly efficient pump design
